Translation English to Vietnamese Second Session

I start a new project in translation (English to Vietnamese), and would like to have your comments. I use Skype to discuss with a trainee texts translated by her. It's very practical, down to earth, if you like.
This is the second session:

[6:00:53 PM] Jolie Tran: My translation is: "Máy tìm kiếm ngày nay đã là một phần tất yếu giữa một hệ thống các công cụ truy tìm “dữ liệu mở” phổ biến khác."

[6:02:44 PM] Jolie Tran: In fact, I have some trouble looking for an equivalent to "intrinsic part".

[6:03:43 PM] Ngoc Tran: OK. But why do you use 'giữa' which means literally 'between'? We come back to 'intrinsic part' later.

[6:06:52 PM] Jolie Tran: Well, in my opinion, "a part of an array of....." is a member of a huge collection, whereas "search engines" are equal (I don't know how to express "đồng đẳng") to "research tools".

[6:32:19 PM] Jolie Tran: I found some use "truyền thông xã hội", some use "truyền thông đại chúng".

[6:32:41 PM] Jolie Tran: I think both are correct, but "truyền thông đại chúng", in my view only, sounds better.

[6:33:58 PM] Jolie Tran: I also think that "truyền thông đại chúng" is more appropriate since it conveys the nature of "social media"

[6:45:10 PM] Ngoc Tran: You have to edit it right now. And beware of grammar: your translation is agrammatical. Vietnamese sentences are somewhat like English sentences. The word order in a sentences is basically like this: Subject – Verb (Predicate) – Object.

[6:57:36 PM] Jolie Tran: I am not certain whether ""tìm kiếm trực tuyến một cách hiệu quả" is the closest equivalent to "effective web searching", yet I generalize it into "Internet searching" instead of "web searching".
